Let us start with the bad news, shall we?
Today is going to be the last post I’m going to be doing for the next 7 months. I have finally been given a date for when I leave to work on a cruise liner as an Entertainment Staff member, and as such I shall be dedicating a lot of my time over the next 7 weeks to getting myself prepared emotionally as well as packing all my bits and pieces.
I just wanted to make this post today to thank all of you for having stuck with me over these past months whilst I found my feet and settled into blogging again. It was long overdue and I am extremely happy that my posting and images have been so well received from the Second Life community.
Now, whilst this sounds like a goodbye, it really isn’t! I shall be back. Albeit in 7 months, but I shall be back! I cannot wait to return and experience all of the fantastic releases that the creators on the grid will have dedicated hours to creating. Second Life will most definitely be a completely different place upon my return. That’s what I love about this virtual world. It’s always morphing and changing.
I shall see you all in May 2015! It’s been a blast.
Hey, everyone! I hope you’re having a great week so far!
I’ve been slightly AWOL over the past couple of days due to the release of The Sims 4, which I have been patiently waiting for ever since I heard of it’s release and tested an early version when I worked at Eurogamer in London during October 2013. I’m having lots of fun with it, and you can see what I’m getting up to in my game by heading over to my Sims Tumblr, or ‘Simblr’ as the community likes to call it. You can find it here!
Today’s blog post is a rehash of an outfit i’ve been wanting to blog for a while, when I was having my 90s-esque phase of looks a week or so back. I recieved a couple of new releases from Truth, as well as a lovely little shirt dress from Rowne for their Collabor88 release, and decided that these pieces worked extremely well with certain other items in the original look, and et voila! Here we are.
The pants, by Baiastice, and the bracelet (which I adore!) by Izzie’s are still available to pick up at The Dressing Room FUSION for super cheap! So head over and pick these beauties up whilst you have the chance.
If any of you are playing The Sims 4 as of late and have a tumblr page yourself, be sure to give me a follow! I’ll be back and forth between this and that blog over the next couple of weeks until I start to get bored of it. Ha!

Hey, everyone! TGIF! Yay! I
I’ve been out of the loop with pop music for a little whilst, existing in a bubble of acoustic covers and bands like Fleetwood Mac and Lykke Li, but I have adored Ariana Grande for a while now. She’s absolutely adorable.
Her new music video, which draws upon and parodies many SciFi culture elements was crying out to have her looks recreated in Second Life.
It took me absolutely ages to get this right, and playing with different hair attachments to get the anti-gravity feel and not that I’m just floating around in mid air, but I think I did a pretty good job!
I hope that you have a fantastic weekend, let loose and, ha, break free!

I was contacted recently by Fade Arcade of Fade Arcade Designs, a Second Life designer and template creator, asking if I would like to blog some of his creations. His pieces range from club wear to skimpier pieces, but I came across this fantastic shirt which I was instantly inspired by.
You’d think the ‘dress’ that I’m wearing is a one piece, right? No, it’s actually from two designers. The shirt is, as aforementioned, by Fade Arcade, whilst the skirt is one of my old favourites from a splendid little store called REMY, which has some absolutely must-have pieces for those of you who like to experiment with layering. I usually have many, many issues with layering mesh items, so I was happy that these meshed (excuse the pun) so nicely.
Make sure to head over to Fade’s store and browse his items, there are some gems that you’ll be glad to pick up.
P.S. – I’ve finally gotten around to fixing up my Facebook Page. It’s another way to keep up to date with what I’m doing. You can find it here.
